As a mother of 4 children family life is often hectic. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the buzz and noise that this brings. We also all play music and sing, so that just adds another element to it. Never a quiet moment in our house! I have to manage my workload around the family, and after planning for all the children's extra curricular activities for 21 years, time management comes easily to me.

Amateur Dramatics

I participate in amateur dramatics having played many a leading role. Miss Hannigan in Annie and Jean in Sunshine on Leith to name but a few. Public speaking therefore comes fairly easily to me, and so it's not something that I shy away from. I recently achieved my NODA 25 yr Long Service Medal, which shows active participation in the drama field either on or off stage.

Committee Membership

I am president of The Minerva Club Glasgow, which is one of the amateur clubs that I have been a member of for 18 years. I feel it is important to give back to a community in which I have had over 27 years of fun. This also shows my ability to be able to work in and lead a team.

I attend singing lessons and dancing lessons which all help me to relax in my down time.

Each year we take a family photo on Christmas Eve which follows a theme. I will let you work out this years theme. Planning is already underway for 2017. We really bond over this, and it is one of the happiest and most daft times we all participate in all year.
