Professional Info

I am a passionate Optometrist who can test eyes, fit contact lenses and I care daily for each of my patients on an individualised level. I qualified from Glasgow Caledonian University in 1990 and passed my professional exams in 1992. I was also one of the first 50 optometrists in the UK to achieve the qualification of Independent Prescriber. This allows me to prescribe drugs for eye infections and to treat red and sore eyes.

I run my own business and am there to lead my staff day to day in their work. We often allow students and school children to undertake work placements with us to try and give back to the community and to help and encourage the next generation to take up Optometry.
